The Dirigo II is our new flagship. She is a beautiful 72-foot John Alden designed double top-masted schooner. Her construction began in 1939 by the Goudy and Stevens yard in East Boothbay, Maine. She was to designed to be capable of circumnavigation, capable of sailing in any ocean, in any weather. Completed in 1946, her second owner, Jim Crawford, circumnavigated the globe and also campaigned her in the 1953 Transpac Race.
Dirigo II was kept in the Puget Sound for 20 years until she was purchased by a California man and taken south. She has been there for the last ten years in charter. While in California, she competed 5 straight years in the Newport Beach-Ensenada Race, once taking second place!
Between 1998 and 2005, Dirigo II underwent several major restorations.
This spring we completed the final stage of restoration, and have returned her to her home in the Pacific Northwest once again. She is now open for public reservation for a fantastic charter in Friday Harbor, Wa!

Known as “the ultimate sailing machine", The Express 27 is the quintessential ultra light racer. A great boat for a fun day sail. Quick and responsive. Fast. Easy to sail. Comfortable cabin.
There were only 12 of these boats commissioned by the Seattle Yacht Club as a fast racer cruiser. Philip Rhodes designed then to be long, lean, fast, and pretty. She is. Only 7 remain. She is a joy to sail, simple to handle, and stands up in a breeze.
The Isabella is a lapstrake Nordic Folkboat. She is a beautiful example of a simple day sailer. In her deep and spacious cockpit everyone can feel comfortable and have a turn at the helm. Her full keel with lead ballast keeps her true on blustery days and her remarkably sturdy build gives you the impression of having more boat underneath you than you'd guess from first glance.
The Screamer 40 was designed by Kaufman to be a super simple go fast ultra light. This one has been modified to be even faster, with a masthead rig, a deeper, lighter, more efficient keel, and further weight saving carbon fiber parts. Basically a 40' laser with a huge and comfortable cockpit. Watch out!
