Welcome!

Here at San Juan Classic Day Sailing we offer Skippered Day Sailing Cruises throughout the beautiful San Juan Island Archipelago. Our fleet of beautifully restored classic wooden sailboats is docked at Spring Street Landing in downtown Friday Harbor, Washington; only 100ft from the Washington State Ferry Terminal. From this ideal position at the heart of the islands, we are poised to sail through some truly amazing waters to many delightful and exciting local destinations! Guests are welcomed to particitaite in the sailing of the vessel as much as desired but no prior sailing experience is needed as we offer instruction throughout the trip! With great places for lunch and picknic stops, and always the chance to be surrounded by wildlife including the Orca Whale, a day out on the water with us promises to be a truly memorable experience!

This spring we will be welcoming the Dirigo II into our fleet! She is a beautiful 72' Alden schooner and will be offered for charter beginning Summer 2010. Please check her our on our "Boats" page and call us today to book your trip aboard this spectacular piece of history! We will be offering several new trip schedules into our "Sailing Options" designed specially for the Dirigo II. Check back with us soon or call us with any questions!

• One Way Inter-Island Trips

• 2 1/2 hours with wine/champagne and cheese. Very romantic!

Instructional Sails

• Although we offer instruction on all of our sailings, on these trips we focus in depth on the finer aspects of sailing!

All of our charters/sailings are skippered by U.S. Coast Guard licensed local sailors. We do not offer bareboat charters for insurance coverage reasons and due to the necessity of local knoweldge and experience.
